KontrolleHH — live hvv line status for Hamburg, reported by riders
Install KontrolleHH for quick access and live status updates.
About KontrolleHH
A community board for ticket inspections on Hamburg’s hvv network. Riders report where they have seen inspectors, and those reports appear live on the map for everyone following that line.
How it works
Tap Report status at nearest station to file a report at the stop closest to you.
Reports are anonymous and expire on their own after a short while.
Tap a line to follow it. Zoom in to see more stops.
Install it on your phone
Installed, KontrolleHH opens full screen from your home screen, starts faster, and can send notifications for the lines you follow.
iPhone or iPad: open this page in Safari, tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen. Safari is required — other browsers on iOS cannot install it.
Android: open this page in Chrome, tap the menu, then Install app or Add to Home screen.
Desktop: look for the install icon in the address bar in Chrome or Edge.
Please keep in mind
Reports come from other riders and are not verified. They can be mistaken, out of date, or missing entirely.
An empty map means nobody has reported anything — not that the coast is clear.
Inspections can happen on any line, at any time, without warning.
Always travel with a valid ticket. This app is for awareness and is not a way to avoid paying a fare. Fare evasion is a criminal offence in Germany (§ 265a StGB).
Ask an AI assistant
KontrolleHH has a read-only MCP endpoint at https://kontrollehh.app/mcp. Add it as a connector in Claude, ChatGPT or any other MCP client and you can ask about line status in plain language. Reports can only be filed here, not through the connector.
